I recommend: Make a box for every person in your family (not too big, easily stored). Stock up on the notes and folded notes to suit each persons age/gender/preferences. Go ahead and buy a book of 20 stamps for each person as well. Include two pens in each box. Stuff the rest of the room with envelopes. Keep the "TY kits" on hand for Thank you notes (always a good idea, ALWAYS) and other letter-writing occasions.
